Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: What happens to the wine over time?
A: I have experimented a lot to create a multi-step process to ensure the color lasts long-term for my original wine paintings. The wine colors may age and the color may deepen over time depending on how you care for it. That’s part of what makes an original extra unique! The most important element is making sure to frame your piece ASAP and keep it out of direct sunlight.

  • Q: How do I care for my wine art painting?
A: Wine is a fragile medium. Frame it immediately. The most important thing is to avoid displaying the art in direct sunlight.

  • Q: Where do you ship?
A: Almost anywhere! I offer domestic and international shipping. If you have a question about how much it will cost for me to ship to you wherever you are in the world, contact me and I can let you know.

  • Q: How do multiple payments work?
A: I can split the cost of the painting into two payments {so a $200 painting becomes two payments of $100 every two weeks.} I will email you an invoice via PayPal, where you can pay with credit card if you’d prefer. If you want to use this option, just send me an email at hello@elysiamyerswineart.com and I’ll set it up for you!

  • Q: I don't exactly see what I'm looking for. Can you create something for me?
A: I accept a handful of commission projects every year. Information about commissions can be found here.
