I stood watching the Immersive Van Gogh experience, riveted by how the film brought the paintings to life. Listening to Non, je ne regrette rien by Edith Piaf, I got goosebumps watching the sun move along the horizon. I saw my own cork markings moving behind a mountain range as if they were swirling through the sky, and needed to bring it to life. While I don’t claim to be even the tiniest bit close to touching Van Gogh’s genius, these pieces are absolutely inspired by the experience.
