About Deep Purple

Painted first with corks and masking fluid {a removable glue}, then layered with a new technique for melting the wine colors together. Completed by removing the glue to reveal the “negative” cork markings within the wine. I tapped into a dreamy vision for this collection, where I escaped into the mood of each piece, even if just for a moment.

Each painting is named for its main tasting note wine color description.
