Tart Cherries No. 2 was painted with rosé, Merlot, Syrah, Sangiovese, Pinot Noir, and Carignan.

Size is 6.5×11”. Total size with optional custom mat is 11×14”.

The Inspiration:
A few months ago, I asked the internet to send me their boudoir photos, and I was absolutely floored by the submissions I received. Demure, sexy, empowered, spicy, provocative, shy, flirtatious, sensual. It was a bevy of all different shapes and types of women. I immediately felt an immense humility to be given this sacred access and trust to portray them through my own eyes. 

The shadows called to me. I really wanted to highlight the stark contrasts between light and dark. The room is quiet. All of your attention is focused on her. Blink and you miss the subtle shifts in posture.
