About Provence
Painted using corks as my paintbrush and masking fluid with Merlot, Zinfandel, Rosé of Zinfandel, Rosé of Malbec, and Sangiovese. It’s named for one of the best regions in the world for producing rosé wines: Provence, France.

Masking fluid acts like a removable glue, leaving behind intriguing cork marks behind the wine petals. I painted with wine corks exclusively for this painting to add depth and texture, as well as to further my connection to the history of each wine.
