The photos we take and can only see criticisms of ourselves are the same photos that years later we look back on with kinder eyes, realizing how beautiful we were. What a shame we couldn't see then what we can see now. I try to look at current photos of myself– flaws and all– with the softer eyes of an older version of me. 

My husband asked me a few nudes ago why I was doing another one. Because I want to! And isn't that the whole point?

She was painted with Barbera, Pinot Noir, Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Merlot rosé and Carignan.
